It was bad enough when the climate change deniers used a tiny wee clip of a Jon Stewart clip out of context. The only thing worse, is David Wright of ABC coming out with it now, as if it’s not only true, but brand new!
Gold, David Wright ABC News producer not only presented a few seconds of a Jon Stewart clip out of context, making it appear that he is a climate change denier, but he used the same clip and premise as Steve Doocy on Fox 12/4. One would think that even if Wright wasn’t bright enough to get the sarcasm, he’d have read or heard about the Fox debacle earlier in the month, unless he picked the clip up at a weeklyFox fecked-up stories studio sale.
Steve Doocy misses Jon Stewarts sarcasm
Silver, Glenn Beck: Though the topic is gold! Only your good ol’ buddy Glenn would advise you to purchase gold at it’s currently inflated prices, as a hedge against the chaos to come, of course! While Beck claims to be giving you
neighborly advice that could save your life , Peter Epstein, the less than neighborly president of Merit says folks like Beck are "bought and sold."
Certain things are expected of them….it is about gold, but not in the way good neighbor Glenn is selling it to your grandmother!
Bronze, Lauren Petterson, producer of Friendly Fox-up. While the point of the graph on the previous program was to prove that scientists in one widely circulated study had distorted facts regarding climate change, more humorous was the earnest discussion in front of the chart showing the opinions of 120%
of those surveyed.Today Ms Petterson lowered the boom on such unprofessional behavior! See an excellent demonstration of how Fox handles such mistakes, and
continues to be the well-oiled news machine we’ve all come to know.
