Congress Forgets How To Pass A Law
After years of filibustering, in-fighting, out-fighting, and downright refusal to cooperate, Republicans and Democrats have agreed on a bill to pass into law. It appears that Obama’s tireless efforts to make them play nice are bearing fruit.
The Challenger Memorial is unquestionably a worthwhile project. Unfortunately it may never come to pass, as lawmakers have forgotten what comes in-between proposing a law and actually passing it. There is reason for optimism, they agree that there is a gavel involved.
