. Donald Trump’s vindictive nature again rose to the top of his chamber pot yesterday at a law and order meeting with Texas Sheriffs saying he would “destroy the career” of a State Senator who was working to reform the forfeiture laws to be enforced after conviction rather than arrest.
You know, that stupid old concept of innocent until proven guilty thing.
“We’ve got a state senator in Texas that was talking about introducing legislation that would require conviction before we could receive that forfeiture money,” Rockwell County sheriff Hank Eavenson told him.
“Can you believe that?” Trump answered.
“And, I told him that the cartel would build a monument to him in Mexico if he could get that legislation passed,” Eavenson said.
“Who’s the state senator? Want to give his name? We’ll destroy his career.” The President of our United States said.
State Sen. Bob Hall, R-Edgewood represents Rockwall County in the Senate, though Texas State Senators Sen. Konni Burton, R-Colleyville, Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa, D-McAllen also filed for civil asset reform on conviction.
Two things about this. First that The Media mostly passed it by playing nice as character does not matter, and with no video of it, it matters even less.
