Rand Paul lectures African Americans on morality

Rand Paul lectures African Americans

“There are so many things we can talk about, the breakdown of the family structure, the lack of fathers, the lack of a moral code in our society, this isn’t just a racial thing,” Rand Paul on the Laura Ingraham show about Baltimore.

First off what is happening in Baltimore, Ferguson and beyond is completely and totally a racial thing. Other than Fox News being fair and balanced, I am hard pressed to come up with a statement by anyone more wrong than that. Fathers and sons with an unemployment rate of over 30%, giving them NO HOPE while they take notice that local, state, and the federal government not only loudly and constantly take away what little they have to get by, but harass them, break their backs and shoot them down in the streets. The lack of moral code is on the back of Republican ideology which has been doing this to all working class Americans forever, and specifically to African Americans since the party embraced the Southern Strategy in the late 1960s.

Rand Paul, where to even begin with this bozo?  How about we start with the Rachel Maddow Show a few years back where he said he would have voted against the 1965 Civil Rights Act because it would not allow businesses to refuse African Americans to eat, or sleep or use bathrooms and so on. Which was the whole point of the Civil Rights Act.

Then off to Howard University where he denied he said what he said about the Civil Rights Act and was called on it. Then explained to them the history of the GOP fighting racism without mentioning the 180 degree shift with the Southern Strategy in the late sixties, lecturing as if the audience didn’t understand. Next he lectured them on the history of the NAACP which he seemed to know more about then they, and closed the show by telling them they were wrong that voter ID laws were racial or discriminatory in any way. A big bust for Rand Paul talking down to African Americans all of whom were far more informed and smarter than he.

Next he became the GOP front man to reach out to black communities with supply side economic speeches in the hood, that went as well as expected. Though in his defense he has spoke up for reducing incarceration rates of non violent African Americans which most of the GOP has now jumped on board with only because it’s a costly tax thing and the prison guard systems are unionized.

With this new crap blaming African Americans rather than the systemic unemployment and police brutality igniting the anger across the land, he can hang his reaching out to African Americans bonifides on the inside of his Kentucky outhouse door.

I got this from an article at the Washington Times where I suffered the worst ad nightmare I have yet to experience online. Full pop up at the get-go, closing that one brings up a survey to fill out to before the text of the article appears, then a loud sidebar video ad begins on its own, when it is done another loud sidebar video ad begins in the sidebar, when that ends a large video in the article begins that has nothing to do with Rand Paul.

The Washington Times was created by the Unification Church in 1982, it is still owned by Dr Moon and has never made a profit costing the Unification Church well over a billion dollars so far.
