Conservatives do not want any of this. It is another on that long list of issues they are dragged kicking and screaming to the table. Like slavery, women’s rights, child labor, social security, medicare, civil rights, gay rights and so one. The last thing in the world they want is for 11 million Mexicans to be able to vote.
So their, like most of their nastyass crap is to play their game of semantics. They now want 100% border security, which is impossible and they know full well it is impossible. The question is will Marco Rubio and company fool Hispanics? In fact Rubia just came out the other day with another game on the bill, English Only. Another impossibility.
And then there is Ted Cruz, recently indorsed and celebrated by the new intellectual power employee at Fox News, Sarah Palin. Ted Cruz who can’t speak Spanish, was born in Canada and whose mother is Irish and has about as much to do with Latino culture as Steve King.
I do not see how the Immigration Bill can get through the House of Representatives. It seems impossible.
I think what’s going is the GOP thinks the scandals will move them forward so they can again move backwards on the issues to kiss Tea Party ass.
