The book is essentially a propaganda piece to promote putting Jesus – not only into our politics – but into our government. It is also verification that Sarah Palin will run in 2012 unless Jesus calls her home.
"I am not the Catholic candidate for president, I am the Democratic Party’s candidate for president, who happens also to be a Catholic." JFK
Sister Palin is getting much press for her "refudiation" of JFK’s speech explaining the separation of church and state to the voters of 1960, who had a much better grasp of our constitution than most Americans have today.
Sister Sarah response to JFK…
"(He) essentially declared religion to be such a private matter, that it (religion) was irrelevant to the kind of country we are."
The area that is not getting so much press is that "American Exceptionislm" business that runs through the book ad nauseum. This term is a code phrase for the Christian historic belief that Americans have been chosen, ordained by God, as representatives of Jesus Christ on Earth, which makes us superior to all other nations and all other people in the world. It is why we give ourselves free reign to do whatever we please, to whomever please, wherever we please for any reason we please at the point of a gun. Full article on American Exceptionalism.
"America is reawakening to the gift of our religious heritage." Palin goes on defending Mitt Romney wallowing in his Mormon belief system (that the lost tribe of Israel lived in New York for 500 years before Christ who then joined them when he escaped the cross and moved to Michigan."
"We’re worried that our leaders don’t believe what we believe, that America is an exceptional nation, the shining city on a hill that Ronald Reagan believed it is. We want leaders who share this fundamental belief. We deserve such leaders."
She goes on to attack President Obama and First Lady Michelle for "dismissing American Exceptionalism as a kind of irrational prejudice in favor of our way of life."
The book is a patchwork of religious and patriotic homilies that play well for… As Jesse Ventura said – which caused him to be thrown out of MINNIE SODA – "the weak and stupid."
Sarah Palin is arguing that there is no problem with an Evangelical Fundamentalist creationist who takes part in exorcisms, prays for the end of the world and puts their religious beliefs above the constitution and the people of the United states. Just as Muslim Theocracies also believe. If you can’t beat them join them.
