The bottom political line here is that Democrats should not talk impeachment until November 7th. On the other hand it brings out the base to vote. But won’t they vote anyway? And of course the Republican Party now the Trump party will never find 16 GOP senators to vote for indictment no matter what happens on November 6th. Oh, and Tom Seyer is obviously running for president in 2020. Forgot the big one. If impeachment and indictment is successful, we move from Trumpism to Handmaid’s tale.
The other side of the argument is that indeed, no president in history more needs to be impeached no matter what the reason and it is the right thing to do.
Also if the Democrats do win in November and they do begin House impeachment proceedings, Trump will go even more nuts than he already has and more than likely commit an impeachable offense in the process.
