The first time I saw Scott Walker this Rolling Stones song came to mind as it did the first time I saw Oliver North, a sign that there is something very wrong behind the eyes.
I don’t think we really have to worry much about a President Walker, his charisma level is in negative territory, he is extremely dull and boring, and as you can see, there is something wrong with his eyes that seems to come with an evangelical worldview.
But don’t count him out just yet as he does have a few things going for him.
Most recently he leads the pack in his fevered support of anti-intellectualism that the GOP Base loves to wallow in. Governor Walker is presently defunding one of the best university systems in America and has taken much relish that some uppity liberals have let it be known he never graduated from college. So it could very well be that he is even dumber than George W. Bush, which is a winner for the GOP Base. Right now it looks like it’s a fight between Walker and Jeb for the establishment money to go up against Ted Cruz.
It has been a bad week for Governor Walker. It began in England where he refused to say he believed in evolution, then on to give Rudy Giuliani a pat on the back when Giuliani went clown claiming President Obama did not love us or America because he is not like the rest of us normal white people. And then just yesterday Scott Walker said he did not know whether President Obama is a Christian or not.
All that is STRAIGHT UP RACISM. YES IT IS. Neither of these ugly Americans would say such things to a white person with the same background. They don’t like Hillary Clinton any more than they do Obama and don’t say she doesn’t love America or may not be a Christian. Well as yet anyway. But be warned, we can no longer point out racism because Republicans have managed to get all the white people they represent to believe that drawing attention to racism is worst than racism itself. The GOP does very very well with semantic drool.
The larger point here is that after listening to Scott Walker go sync with Rudy Giuliani, and both considered to be the moderate establishment wing of the GOP, I feel I should apologize for singling out Mayor Giuliani for his racist beliefs. After all, it is the same racist crap that the entire Republican Party enjoys, with the only caveat being to keep a lid on it in public. Keep it on the golf course.
