In a week filled with blurted racism disguised as Birther concern, Huckabee managed to work the Mau Mau Revolt (60 years ago) and its imagined impact on President Obama into any opportunity to speak into a microphone. On a roll downhill he also addressed a fictional childhood for the President in Kenya including but not limited to madrases. I would call it a week, but Huck found the room to insert another size 13 into his mouth!
After taking much heat for his criticism of pregnant and (none of his business), Natalie Portman – who has plans to marry her baby’s father. Huckabee didn’t apologize, he ‘clarified.’ Leaving it at ‘criticism’ would have been miles ahead of a Huckabee clarification. He does find it "Unfortunate that women glorify and glamorize the idea of out-of-children wedlock." : )
Chris Matthews may be right about the references to Hitler, but in this case, I think Sherrod Brown’s point about unions should be heeded, regardless of the over-used comparison.
