Why are the help at Ruth Chris Steakhouse virgins? Why no mention of Rush Limbaugh?
I think this is one of those things that gets embedded so deep in our culture, like racism, that we take little notice of it. But then again there is that great mass of humanity who follow celebrity and balls rather than politics and are oblivious to this – and most everything else for that matter.
There has been some 20 years of Ruth Chris advertising with Rush Limbaugh, even piping the Rush Limbaugh Show over their sound system for their lunch crowd regulars. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity get free meals and often promote the place or name drop it. The names Rush Limbaugh and Ruth Chris have become synonymous to any political animal. Oh, and big fat cigars.
Politics aside, this sketch sure reminds me of one from long ago.
