Hmmm… I think he’s right. The issue with Geraldo is that if you are black and wear a hoodie, be prepared to be shot by a white person. Who may or may not be wearing a hoodie. Was that Mark Zuckerman acting suspicious?
For many years I have been asking the redundant question “What do yall think the guns are for?” Well this trial and acquittal sure proved my point. As it stands now – in a growing number of states mostly Southern and rural – if a black guy scares you it’s okay to shoot him. Which is the entire point of CASTLE and STAND YOUR GROUND laws. And you may need an assault rifle with 100 round clip to do the job properly.
