Stephen Colbert Republicans trapped, want tax breaks for fetuses

Republicans are now at the top of their game in getting nothing done. Over the past three years they have filibustered 200 times to insure nothing gets done. The Party of No does the NO part well. They realize that if they cannot go back in time to the good ole days of Herbert Hoover, they can at least hold on to the good old days of George W Bush. If you listen to Glenn Beck these days you will find that the word
"progressive" – meaning moving forward with new ideas – is now on equal
footing with Nazism, communism, totalitarianism, fascism and Satan. It
seems Beck and company have succeeded in finally burying the word
"liberal" – meaning open minded and tolerant of others – to the trash
bin of history. As Republican Randall Terry so well states with his best
selling t-shirts, INTOLERANCE IS BEAUTIFUL!

They have not found any new word for "conservative" – which suspiciously
still means what it always has meant – holding firm to the past so the
same people control all the wealth and power. Which is what – BELIEVE IT
OR NOT – people at the Tea Parties with all that screeching about
Hitler Obama usurping the Constitution (read taxation) want. Even my
fellows in trailer parks who can’t get a loan for a few new jacks for
the falling backside of their double-wide want to keep the Republicans
in power than anything else.  Well other than maybe a few more guns and
some of that old time cheapass trailer cooked meth.
