So, how many millionaires stop at a 7 eleven for a big gulp? And some states don’t even have 7 Elevens. And how many even notice the color of the cups?
This touches on one of the issues in this election that Mitt Romney so well represents. That his Upper Class is so totally out of touch with the rest of us they seem to live on a different planet. They dont shop, or pull in to a gas station, or drive a car, or have to worry about bills, or sending kids to school, or borrow money, or find a down payment… Romney did it the other day, telling students he would make sure the government would give no help to them for higher education, they would just have to borrow the money from their parents. Wow hey. Parents who do not have the money to sent their children to college is more than the 47% of Americans he claims are deadbeats.
Speaking of out of touch millionaires… Former GE CEO Jack Welch who recently called the BLS unemployment figures a cooked up conspiracy by Chicago politicians, SUDDENLY no longer writes for either Fortune or Reuters.
