The comparisons are profound. The Right-wing ugliness, the personal attacks, the lies, the made up crap, the mannerisms, the speech, the marketing, the extreme right-wing propaganda and of course the same audience who changed their name from the John Birch Society to the Tea Party. The same intolerant subsection of the Republican white-wing. The only difference is that Ted Cruz is directing his attacks more at African Americans (lazy moochers) than Liberals (communists). Though there is quite a bit of overlap.
Say what you will, Ted Cruz is riding high. He is the most successful politician in Texas, the most beloved leader in the Tea Party and at the moment, adding more to his election war chest than any other Senator. He is on a run.
