Women with pompadore haircuts and frontier garb – with interior stitching made of prayers wishing for everyone in the world to be killed by God as soon as possible and who give up their underage daughters to old men for sex – smiled today, some for the first time in their lives! Yelps of "Praise the Lord" were heard outside the Austin courtroom after Texas Child Protection Services came under fire and the original judge in the case, Barbara Walther, was overruled. The process has now begun to return the children to the Eldorado cult compound.
The Texas Court of Appeals – fully Conservative Republican as all courts in Texas are said,
"Even if one views the FLDS belief system as creating a danger of sexual abuse by grooming boys to be perpetrators of sexual abuse and raising girls to be victims of sexual abuse as the Department contends, there is no evidence that this danger is ‘immediate’ or ‘urgent’ … with respect to every child in the community."
They are sending the children back for Latter Day Perverts to play with. The court was clear, it is okay to groom boys to be sexual predators and raising girls to be victims of sexual abuse as long as they don’t do anything bad TODAY. But the real issue in this, the great UNSAID, is that it’s okay for people commit polygamy and sexually abuse underage girls if they to it in a Christian manner. Those who love Jesus enough can to do just about whatever they please. Court rules Texas had no right to seize sect children
It is why Federal Marshalls played around with White Supremacist Randy Weaver and his disgusting anti-Semite nazi family for over a year rather than just tossing him in the slammer as the RULE OF LAW required. It is why it took months of chatter, planning and 51 days of inaction to deal with David Koresh and his sorryass gang of Branch Dividians who were also sexually abusing underage girls. This is now about the political backlash (religious) of picking on Jesus loving Christians. It makes we want to go to a gun show and stock up on ammo. Lots of ammo.
All politicians in West Texas who approved the raid on this cult are in trouble, as are statewide politicians to a lesser degree. I am sure we will now see the tide turn as concerns move from little girls being sexually abused to how poorly the secular state treats religious people (Christian Cults.) After all, they only want to love Jesus… And little girls.
There are a few heroes in all this, one being Carolyn Jessop who escaped the cult [CULT NOT SECT] in 2003. She was 18 years old when she was forced to marry a 50 year old man she didn’t know or like. When told of the Appeals Court decision while giving a speech to help Texas CDS social workers deal with the brutally brainwashed FLDS children, her body began to shake and failing to hold back her tears said,
"I just can’t believe they are just sending them back, that everyone can pretend that the abuse didn’t happen. We have just lost another generation. I can only hope the the public will protest the court decision."
The public! It’s the public who are most responsible for the appeal court decision! Judges in Texas are elected! Texans may not be very bright, especially out yonder in West Texas, but they are smart enough to know that the right to love Jesus is far more important than the right of children to not be sexually abused. That’s a no brainer here in Dumbutt. Court order shocking to woman who fled sect
This of course all brings back the 1953 case in New Mexico where the same thing happened. The state had enough of the polygamy and sexual abuse of children and acted in the same way Texas did this year. A year later the Governor and many others politicians lost elections because they picked on Christians. Which allowed the polygamy and sexual abuse to go on unchecked for another 50 years. Here we are at the same point once again. polygamy will go on, they will keep sexual abusing little girls with better paperwork, they will keep the competition for the little girls low by tossing out the young men, with all these ugly women behind it all. Because it’s what Jesus wants. After all, who is to say it isn’t what Jesus wants?
One last little note… In trying to find the relationship between Willie and Carolyn Jessop in all this, I found there were so many Jessops that I just gave up.
