Yes I did change the Title because Texas Republicans are about to pass the Texas Bathroom Bill which North Carolina recently partly rejected.
These laws and the push for such laws come from very stupid people. Excuse me, seriously intellectually disabled people. Well come to think of it perhaps to be more accurate a new conservatively correct word is needed here. The Religiously Disabled. You know, anyone dumb enough to vote for The Donald.
The business loss to North Carolina for their bill was set at about $3.5 billion. Texas being so much larger that loss could go up to God only knows how much which doesn’t matter to the Religiously Disabled.
But that is not where the excruciating stupidity lays.
First off, it is unenforceable. How much would it cost for a Bathroom Defense Force? Sure they can bring all the pee checker cops from social service buildings and probation units, but how many public bathrooms are there.
What about airports and women in burkas, men in robes and such? Even more people will stop coming to America to visit and spend money than they already have since The Donald’s immigration policies.
What about those men and women who have had surgery and have replaced their genitals with the opposite sex? How do they check that? What’s on their birth certificate?
What about the men who have lived and looked like women all their lives? Are they suppose to stand up and lift their dresses at a urinal?
What about women who have lived and look like men? Do they go to the ladies’ room and pee in the sink?
What would Ru Paul and Mrs Doubtfire?
And what will 4 million stupid people do from 8pm to 9pm for an hour every weeknight from now on? Can Tucker carry the load?
I have an idea! Let’s change the nomenclature on the bathroom doors to SMART or STUPID. Which would reduce my waiting time by quite a bit, especially at Sports Bars.
