After all, your teachers, the government and the DARE officer who told you to turn in your parents, were spreading propaganda ‘for your own good!’ By now, you know those four words make up one highly suspicious phrase.
I guess it should come as no surprise that a department head in the thirties, pegged both marijuana and Mexicans with the same poison dart, thus assuring Harry Anslinger a kind of creepy immortality. However, it’s astonishing to me that we’re still laboring under the propaganda from the Nixon Administration – propaganda even they admitted was pure bullocks! Countless kiddies were told about the gateway drug, it’s hazards and ruination, while the very people who perpetrated ‘the War On Drugs, came out and said that it had nothing to do with your health or welfare…Wait until you see why they lied to you – ‘for your own good’ indeed!
Just a note about something not included in the video. Donald Trump’s pick for Attorney General is Sen. Senator Jeff Sessions, whose goal is to reverse years of marijuana legalization. Sessions is a fan of Nancy Reagan’s ‘Just Say No’ policy because – as he says,”moral people don’t smoke pot.” Even moral sick people can only safely have a stiff glass of bourbon, I guess. An unabashed racist, Sessions is quoted saying; “I was fine with the KKK until I found out they smoked pot.” The more you know about boldly racist Sessions, the more likely you are to fumble for your lighter and that little green bag.
