It is sometimes observed that good looks and brains are not always a package deal. Bombastic blonde, and Coulter-in training, Tomi Lahren proved the theory without a doubt tonight at Politicon, in a healthcare debate with Chelsea Handler – who is gifted with beauty and intelligence. While Handler does and can ably hold her own, she needn’t to have engaged all available brain cells, as Lahren not only lost the debate, but somehow managed to beat herself.
Lahren trashed the ACA or Obamacare, and blasted Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) for voting against the GOP plan. She promised that supporters would “get revenge” for his vote. Pretty classy huh?
If one needed an illustration of how well Obamacare is working, and how clueless those who decry it truly are, I offer Tomi Lahren as Exhibit A .
Chelsea Handler asked about Lahren’s healthcare situation.
“Well, I’m on my parents health insurance…I’m 24,” she explained.
Obamacare, a.k.a. The Affordable Care Act, ensured that young Americans would be able to hang on to health insurance through their parents well past high school. Lahren won’t be kicked off of her parents’ health insurance until she turns 26 thanks to President Barack Obama.
What fun, and remember, Chelsea Handler is by vocation a comedian, and Lahren is allegedly an up and coming spokesperson of the right.
