The 2016 United Nations “Happiest Countries” list is just in, in order are Denmark [first again], Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia and Sweden, and what do they all have in common? They are what Republicans constantly scare us with becoming if we don’t elect Ted Cruz, the horror of “European Socialism.”
The United States is not all that far behind at 13th, but checking the chart it seems this is only because there is no criteria used regarding gunmania.
But to be fair there are three other issues that set these top ten nations above the rest. Other than Austrialia ice and snow seem to have something to do with it. Which we can take notice of here in America, data maps always show the bottom half much worse than the top half in most everything horrible.
And of course not to forget the white.
We can use any codewords we like, but whether it be the safety net, healthcare, disparity of wealth, taxes, poverty or our aversion to happy socialism, it all comes down to white people not wanting to support not white people. We recently see the a regression in Europe as Muslims communities grow. It’s human nature! Which brings us to the difference between a conservative and a liberal, the former is resigned to it while the latter tries to fix it. There have a name for that. Civilization.
