The 2014 election of House members will tell us which way the wind is really blowing. Unlike the Senate the larger the numbers the more better the results. Though there are impediments to success. Off year elections seem to always go to the party out of the White House. The GOP has excelled in gerrymandering districts to their favor. They are still very active in trying to suppress the vote of the poor and minorities. The gun enthusiasts, religious fundamentalists and white bigots have a much high rate of voting than the rest of Americans.
On the other side is the young people trending away from intolerant social issues, the demography of Hispanics moving away from the GOP, and the primaries giving us too many republican clowns to count.
