What could be better than learning most of the hetero-sexual marriages in Texas are illegal, as deemed by Texas law? A close second, is seeing Fox "News" trot out their "video crowd library" for Palin, so soon after they’d just apologized after getting busted last week for "mixing up" "Tea-bagger" crowd footage, with more robust campaign footage…purely accidental you know.Accidents just continue to happen with these guys. Sadly, and Finally, Bill O’Reilly is taking on the Southern Poverty Law Center. In his grief, condemning anyone and everyone for CNN’s firing of Lou Dobbs.
Best Comeuppance: Barbara Ann Radnofsky, had the job of informing Texans that their 2005 amendment to ban same sex and civil unions – you know, to preserve the sanctity of marriage between one miserable man and woman. Most of all, it was written to exclude those of the same sex who wish to enter into this legal contract betwen themselves and the state. The odd thing is that the amendment is worded in such a way as to make the bastions of hetero society illegally married – too! For once, they are in the same leaky boat as the same sex couples whom they were so eager to leave out, that they didn’t double check the wording on their law of exclusion, which is shown here! Maybe understanding will reign, and there will be an enormous mass marriage for the previously excluded, and re-marriage for the accidental lawbreakers ceremony – and teach the world to sing !
Best repeated self-revelation: Who could forget just days ago when Fox news was caught enlarging the crowds ofa fun rally, with badly edited clips from the McCain campaign? Apologies were given, but I’ve got to tell you that I’m not so certain Fox is sincere! When Sarah Palin very recently was drawing more flies than crowds, once again..the mobs at her book signing looked very familiar.
Fox News needs some different crowd scenes, I’m beginning to spot my favorite sign carrying rally attendees, tea-baggers, or book lines…as the case may be.
Best total inability to understand the 1st amendment: Bill O’Reilly, perhaps distraught because he doesn’t need yet more competition on Fox, is on the attack! Richard Cohen of the southern poverty law center is his recent target. Watch as he rips into Cohen and the Southern Poverty Law Center, somehow feeling that because Dobbs was fired, that they are fascists. Then again, maybe he’s just trying to get out of the bet he made,
watch and see what you think!
