A new poll was released the other day that puts this coming election in the proper light.
Working class white voters favor Republicans over Democrats races by 58 percent to 36 percent. A 22 point difference. They make up 4 in 10 voters.
If we were to subtract urban dwellers and Northerners I would suspect that number to be well over 100%. You know these KIND OF PEOPLE like to give certain things that 110% push!
So what issues are so powerful that the majority of white people will vote against their own self interest in favor not only tax breaks for the wealthy, but for a bloody kick in the head concerning most everything in their lives?
What force is so strong in this election that whites will vote for Republicans against their own self interest?
a) Republicans who caused their lost jobs
b) Republicans removing their government benefits
c) Republicans who caused the recession and debt
d) TARP which has worked well
e) The stimulus that has worked well
f) Health care reform that includes non whites
g) A Negro in the White House
h) Clinging to Guns and Religion (truth angers)
i) Dittohead acceptance of talk radio and Fox News
In the last election the difference was 11 points rather than 22 points. What has caused it to double? What is different today? The answer is F. Their hard earned taxes going to help people less white and less deserving than they.
