It was somewhat reassuring to see a few lighter moments during the intensive round of questioning by the Senate last week. Elena Kagan weathered the questions gracefully and with a sense of humor, an encouraging sign for any job applicant. Originally thought to be a closet progressive (gasp!), Kagan seems to have dispelled fears among some conservatives.. Senator Lindsey Graham SC-R, stated, "You’ve acquitted yourself well."
