In this first video (the one that aired) Jon Stewart pretty much gives the Godfather of the Tea Party a free ride. But it’s worth watching just to see how disgusting Dick Army is just being himself. Denying that the Tea Baggers vote Republican. Lying is what these KIND OF PEOPLE do best. Its all the TARP! TARP TARP TARP! Total waste of money! Saved this nation from a depression for a generation is what it did. Even W. Bush and the GOP at the time understood that.

Exclusive – Dick Armey Extended Interview Pt. 1 | ||||

Reminder. Dick Armey voted against HEAD START – the successful pre school education program for children in need (guess what color such toddlers would be) every time it came up. In fact he was often the only vote in Congress against renewing it, loudly, adamantly and angrily against it.
The most important thing Armey’s Republican philosophy is against, is the government having no business where it does not belong, like in education for example. Before Dick Armey went to Congress he was a government paid teacher at the prestigious University of North Texas, Denten where he taught libertarian economics. Though he is most famous for his Texas Christian homilies and calling Barney Frank a "fag". Stuff of heroes down here in Dumbutt.
I cannot recall any exchange that better puts the perfect ideological storm upon what a Republican is these days than this classic video minute.
Dick Armey imagines he and Jon Stewart are stranded on an Pacific island.
Conservative Dick Armey says he will be in charge because he will have a gun.
Liberal Jon Stewart outwits Armey by saying he will have a boat.
The Republican response is to say he will shoot a hole in the boat.
They you have it! Simple, clear and to the point. The Republican Party defined.
In this second off the air video Jon Stewart begins to push back. While Armey blames Freddie and Fanny, Stewart rightly explains neither were bundling bad loans into regulation free derivatives with the blessings of the unregulated and CORRUPT rating companies, which is what actually caused the recession.
But it is Stewart giving Armey a lesson in tyranny that gets the audience ovation. Stewart also smacks him down for being part of the government he so strongly reviles, he was a congressman for 20 years and left to come back to Congress to lobby them for money. The response is Ralph Cramden doing the Hubba hubba hubba…
Great line from Stewart! When did you find Jesus? Right after the cops found me!
This third video gets a bit hotter on the issue of what Armey calls tyranny (taxes and health care mandates) and what Stewart calls the Tea Party purpose – electing evermore conservative Republicans – who after they get elected go on to increase the size and scope of government more than Demorats…AS THEY ALWAYS HAVE IN THE PAST .
What these videos show is how easily Fox News or talk radio hosts can be debunked in a fair face to face confrontation. Even a silly late night comic can play them for the fools they are.
