Gold: Glenn Beck…again, or better yet, still. Who could forget Beck’s passionate cry, "Leave the families alone!" Immediately after that plea on behalf of Sarah Palin, Beck has gone on to attack everyone in President Barack Obama’s family – often twice, and yes he includes the children. Today, he’s made certain not to leave anyone out with an attack on Obama’s parents and grand parents. There is no verification, but those nice grand parents are said to have attended a "communist little red church just out of Seattle."Perhaps it was painted red? I am reminded of a recent Seattle PI editorial discussion in which people hotly debated the best and worst places to live in Washington State. Hands down, the "worst" winner happened to be the home town of Glenn Beck. The small town which raised controversy last year by hosting a homecoming of sorts for Beck, stands out for it’s unfriendly, far right wing, and racist reputation, well earned.
Silver Chris Wallace of Fox: Wallace wants the front row seat of Helen Thomas so desperately he’s forgotten what FOX News is all about! This is a lovely moment to stop and enjoy watching Wallace stuff that big ol’ right foot into his mouth. He forgot for a moment or two that Fox is "Fair and Balanced" not the right wing entity which by rights, should occupy Helen’s seat. ; )
Bronze: Keith Olbermann? K.O. wouldn’t have been surprised to hear from an indignant Bill O’Reilly after the report about Sideshow Bill’s sponsorship of Newsmax’s pyramid scheme, which is matched only by Beck’s gold coin scam. Instead, it was the lawyers from Newsmax defending the wording of their "wealth making program" which frankly – sounded a lot better last night! All you need is a "tiny little grubstake" pardner, and it’s "possible" to grab $130,000 or more! That there is high stakes wheeler dealer talk, I suspect. ; )
