Gold: Liz Cheney. We revisit Cheney today. We knew her faux umbrage over President Obama’s use of the words "absorb an attack" were unwise in the extreme. We didn’t know just how unfamiliar she was with the great best-seller, "The Official "Document of Strategy for Homeland Security," authored by the
team of Ded Eye Dick Cheney and Ramblin’ George Bush! A serving of humble chicken-hawk pie is in order for Ms Cheney, an apology or recant is far too much to ask…so leave the feathers on, and make it a double helping please.
Silver: Sharron Angle, Nevada Tea Party candidate for Senate, demonstrates once again the selfish disregard of those who oppose health care legislation. Her hyperbole regarding autism and maternity leave run up against the cold hard facts from Keith Olbermann. Not only is Angle selfish and nasty, she’s intentionally misleading those whose world view is contained within the boundaries of Teabagger rallies and Fox News coverage, AKA "Fund raising with Sharron."
Bronze: Patrick Strickler is the beleaguered party claiming responsibility for the South bend Indiana school sign. While I understand completely how 14 people can look at a typo and see nothing amiss, I highly doubt the folks in Indiana were as forgiving when they saw the sign at the junction of
fortuitously-named Ironwood and route 22.
