Gold: Today brought another face off between the GOP and a Tea Party Republican, in this case Tea Party strategist Jack Burkman and former Sen. Al D’Amato,R-N-Y. D’Amato had heard enough and was not going to let Burkman’s bizarre racist
views lie without a rather emotional counter-attack. I hate to reiterate this, but race continues to be one of the driving forces of the Teatards. They may not know what they’re "for" exactly, they love Palin style rally calls, but the one consistent and much cheered topic is racial intolerance, as you’ll see by Burkman’s off-the-rails screed.
Silver: Don Blankenship CEO of Massey Energy, parent company of Performance Coal Company. This outspoken enemy of "greeniacs" was responsible for the Upper branch mine disaster in West VA April 5, where it’s now known that there were "massive and illegally high levels of explosive coal dust in the mine." I suspect Blankenship could afford to ensure a safe working environment. He was a million dollar contributor to last year’s Labor Day Tea Party event, also known as "Friends of America Rally." Twenty nine families in West Virginia wish fervently that he’d have invested more wisely.
Bronze: State Property Management in Russia will go to the dogs if they’re not paid!
