Fox New’s Sean Hannity and his sponsoring Freedom Alliance are against "big government spending." Apparently the same doesn’t apply to literally taking money from babies and blowing it on gift planes and other "expenses." The government may be profligate in his eyes, but livin’ large on dollars intended for children of fallen war heroes seems to agree with Hannity. The Fox News pundit had claimed that "All the money that we make we put in a
scholarship fund for the children of these slain heroes." If "all" means 12% after expenses, he wasn’t lying, but the Watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington doesn’t feel that the extravagant expenses Hannity and pals are racking up are legit, and have filed complaints with the FTC and IRS, calling the concerts deceptive and illegal. The great crusader could be in a lot of hot water, the IRS always gets its’ man – or weasel, they brought down Al Capone, Hannity ought to be a cinch. In other news, Michael Steele is steering – or back peddling clear of the RNC bondage club scandal.
