Video: Stephen Colbert Vodka Eyeballing, Himmler and Van Morrison

Jager-tainting will now be competing with the Jägerbomb (shot of Jägermeister dropped into a glass of Red Bull) defining who is cool and who is not. Haircuts aside. Contrary to urban legend, Jägermeister (a German Liqueur) does not contain elk blood which sort of defeats the popularity of it, the drink of the hungry hunter.

Notice the haircuts of some of these idiots? Trying to look like Hispanic convicts, boot camp marines and of course not to forget that commander of the Nazi SS who made this attractive hair style so desirable, Heinrich Himmler. The father of SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS! Isn’t there a song? "I Want to Grow up, to be a Nazi, and deport whoever I can" And of course the always popular "Get on the Train Jew!"  He was the King of the World in that regard. Reminds of another song, "Brown eyed Handsome Man."

Which reminds me. Two song wonder and remarkably fat and obnoxious Van Morrison played at the Cynthia Woods Pavilion – our big outside venue down here in dumbutt a few weeks ago. Morrison (not the more popular lizardly one) required that no beer be sold on the premises for his concert. Methinks Van Morrison is the only man in the world who actually should be doing some Jager tainting.

[A different kind of artiste palyed the veunu the  following week which was the first time the Pavilion allowed tailgating in their parking lots, Jimmy Buffet]

"Morrison insisted on the prohibition, because he doesn’t like people moving around while he’s performing. He doesn’t want fans making beer runs or restroom visits — or the talking and misbehaving that liquor sometimes causes. He is a delicate artiste."

"There was so much more wrong with the Van Morrison concert that the lack of beer sales. I couldn’t understand hardly anything he said. I think I may have actually heard the words “brown-eyed girl”… the rest was gibberish. He didn’t engage or even acknowledge the audience, didn’t introduce his band (which was the bright spot of the evening — they were excellent), didn’t do an encore. He was off the stage and packing up the equipment by 9:40 p.m. Needless to say, he won’t be getting another ticket sale from me." Ken Hoffman Review
