Republican Supreme Court justice Samuel Alito who with the four other Republicans on the Supreme Court gave corporations (who have no public interest other than profit) more power than the people to decide our elections – shook his head NO and mouthed NOT TRUE to the President in his State of the Union speech. John Oliver Corporation Loves Alito decision
Update: Neither Antonin "Benito" Scalia or "Uncle" Clarence Thomas made faces or called the President a liar. But then again they both refused to show up. Just seeing the President makes them want to hand over the government to AMWAY.
Alito, not being a nitwit rube from South Carolina, had enough sense to quietly mouth that the President is a liar rather than shout it out to the joy of all American Rubecons. Rubenians? Rubetoobians?
I paid attention to who applauded and who did not this time. It seems generals and justices are not suppose to react in any manner.
This of course must be no easy task either Antonin "Benito" Scalia and "Uncle" Clarence Thomas, both of whose decisions revolve more around HATING LIBERALS SO MUCH THEIR HAIR BLEEDS than anything else. Scalia tries to hide it behind lofty semantic bullcrap, but you have to give Uncle Clarence credit for not hiding the fact that his hate is the driving force of his judicial activism, and proud of it.
And that same political pride is what got Alito to silently call the President a liar. Giving our election process over to those who have the most money is something he is very proud of. It’s thumbing his nose at Democracy in favor of Marketocracy.
BTW, wussy columnist George Will is wetting his pants over this SC decision. His argument is that Pepsi and Microsoft are not going to politicize and offend their customers. These disingenuous arguments from these right-wing loons so often goes over the top without direct response, I often find myself missing CROSSFIRE.
The issue is not Pepsi or Microsoft, it’s Hallibruton, Exxon Mobile and Amway for Christsake! Gosh… And as we are going to get a taste of it come the Superbowl with baby murdering ads by Focus on the Family.
