The most telling result of this election was how it defined rural America with Louie Gohmert gettingĀ 78% of the vote in his rural district.
The only good news this morning is that two more states voted to legalize marijuana. Oregon and Alaska pretty much went the way of Washington and Colorado.
Also Washington DC legalized possession of 2 ounces or less without retail outlets. But now with Republicans in complete control of congress [and the Supreme Court], and with DC being under that thumb, they could easily take that away.
So smoke weed, don’t worry and be happy until 2016 when this will all seem like a bad trip. 2017 when President Clinton replaces one or two conservative Supreme Court justices with liberal ones. Which will be such a generational game changer that I will be able to retire this website after 20 years of fighting.
