Gold: Rush Limbaugh. It is no surprise considering his loose relationship with the truth, but it has become a “She said it first” playground argument as to whether he compared President Obama to Hitler first, or Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi started the Hitler ball rolling. He claims she compared those who disrupted Town Hall meetings to Nazi sympathizers, naturally he had to “push back,” that’s all –
honestly teacher! For a dizzying spin, watch the origin of this saga and see just how far the Rushmeister can stretch and pull the truth until it no longer represents actual events in the least.
Silver: Clusterfox and Friends! Ugh..the truth is about to get another workout from this uninspired trio of morning show hosts, and Nancy Pelosi is the topic once again. They’ve taken apart the issue of Town Halls and the recent op-ed by Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer in USA Today. Their interpretations are truly mind numbing while misquoting just one statement of Pelosi’s. She said, “Drowning out
opposing views is simply un-American”. Seems simple enough, but when Gretchen Carlson interprets the statement to mean that anyone who speaks out is un-American, you know it will only get worse when Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade weigh in with more in-depth anualysis. Yes, the pool is rather shallow, but it’s actually amusing if only viewed for a few seconds here, I promise!
Bronze: Motsohiro Motsimoto: Obviously Mr. M has a problem with his commute to work and punctuality. His clever solution which gave him an entire four minutes of leeway was to push the emergency stop button on the train. Four minutes, these
people are real sticklers for punctuality! Only by watching “Worst” will you see just how desperate – and unthinking this office worker at a railway station truly was! I like him anyway, at least he wasn’t misquoting anyone!
