The principles set in place in this country by our funding fathers
Since Switzerland adopted single payer health care several years ago, which now 90% of them are happy with – as is the case with most all civilized nations who have done so – the United States is the most conservative nation in the industrialized world. And the most capitalist, violent, militaristic, with the weakest safety net, the most people in jail and the least taxed. It is who and what we are. So what’s the problem?
After all, if we did not give our billionaires the ability to own the media and buy elections we could very well end up becoming civilized like the rest of the world, and what then?
