Fifty Shades of SpongeBob 2 at the Drive-In

Fifty Shades of SpongeBob 2 or Terror at the Drive-In

A California drive-in disastrously tempted moms with kids in tow, by scheduling “SpongeBob SquarePants, Sponge Out Of Water” simultaneously with “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

The West Wind Solano Drive-In should have been safe in showing the two films simultaneously, as it has a screen facing north and another facing west. Little eyes anxious to view ‘SpongeBob’ could be expected to face front, and some parents who took small children reported that the kids did exactly that, intent on seeing SpongeBob.

The problem, according to one mother, is that in driving to their parking spot, they couldn’t avoid seeing an unexpected glimpse of the adult film.  “At the time, there was a woman being slapped, clothless, bound up. So we had to have our children close their eyes. I could see another car behind us that had children in there with their eyes closed.”
I don’t know about you, but the minute someone tells me to close my eyes – I know something allegedly interesting is going on!

The other problem ( actually the major problem) was – the moms. According to a mother who is interviewed on this video, they had to leave.  “There’s NO WAY to avoid looking at that screen.” She reported. ” We had to leave, the children were just devastated.”
That’s a rough break, kids. I hope mom makes it up to you, when she gets herself under control.

For the rest of us, we have  we have a very special ‘Fifty Shades of Spongebob’ mash-up. Right now, it’s just a trailer, but Hollywood really ought to pursue the idea. I  really think this version will have a much wider appeal than either of the other films alone.   Kids, you can alternately  open and close your eyes…If you have to go to the film with your moms.
