The Justice Department finding Darren Wilson not guilty of anything at all, gives him the opportunity to join up with Gun Enthusiast hero George Zimmerman to patrol our small towns and protect us from black people walking around. Yes, they walk here and there, it’s called Walking Black, and white people don’t like it. Especially around here.
The larger story of course is racism in Ferguson, a town in the Almost South, gives an inkling of what such towns are like in the Very South. We of course should not give small towns in the North a free pass on this either.
Could it be that we live in a racist nation with a structure of racism from the top on down? Not just in law enforcement, justice and prisons but in education, housing, health care and employment. Which seems to covers all of life other than sleeping. Racist sleeping? Hmmm… Oh to dream the dream of getting to shoot a Negro in your driveway and walk free! It’s what the guns are for you know.
The millions of white Americans who read this or watched the show or even think the word FERGUSON get very very angry when this subject comes up. For they know that the real problem is Al Sharpton.
The funny part of this goes back to the first thing I ever wrote on this website, that conservative politics comes from the biological / genetic inability of people to see things from any other point of view but their own. They lack the POV gene.
We know this is true when we imagine what these people would do if they were stopped constantly by the police for driving, walking or standing around. How they would react to being beaten, cuffed, maced, shot and thrown in prison. How they would react to the 20th employment door slammed in their face, or tossed out into the bad school. Imagine if you will, the police taking their guns away. Imagine that. Wow!
