Over at MSNBC – which is now the top cable news network believe it or not – they have replaced two liberal commentators with Republicans Nicole Wallace at the 4pm slot and Greta Van Sustren at the 6pm slot. Both allowed to wear slacks which we also took notice of with Megyn Kelly at sister channel NBC and her big Putin interview.
Methinks Nicole Wallace is going to be a winner there. Not only has she not been drinking the Donald Koolaid, but has that girl next door cuteness about her. Greta, not so much, but she makes up for it with a good degree of gravitas. Watching both it is hard to say what side they are on. Truly fair and balanced. I guess that Nicole Wallace will take the 8pm slot from Chris Hayes who will move to another slot.
Intellectual firebrand Lawrence O’Donnell is getting the boot from MSNBC to be replaced in the 10pm slot by the more moderate Brian Williams. Who has been redeemed for his two lies when we compare it to The President of the United States who has now documented 5000 lies just in the past year alone.
