There was some tension between O’Reilly and Obama before the interview even started and it went downhill from there, as Jimmy Kimmel shows in this exclusive clip from the FOX ‘news’ broadcast. This is O’Reilly’s third and most contentious ‘interview’ with the President. O’Reilly was given 10 minutes to question the man he bashes nightly to millions, and he did not disappoint those who wished to see O’Reilly badger the President, but to no avail.
O’Reilly’s interview was a self-parodying and non-informative attack on the President of the United States, which asked no new or in-depth questions. Rather he appeared to be channeling the dearly departed Sean Hannity. With eyes wide shut, and mouth wide open, O’Reilly devoted fully 40% of his time to Benghazi, 30% to the Obamacare rollout and 20% to IRS targeting. For those keeping track of these things; during the 10 minute interview, O’Reilly interrupted the President 42 times. However, given the amount O’Reilly spoke, it may be more accurate to say Obama interrupted him, merely to answer. Sometimes he argued with Obama as though the president were a guest on “The O’Reilly Factor.” Of the 2,500 words uttered during the interview, O’Reilly spoke nearly 1,000 of them.
