So who long would it take for James Holmes to fire off the more than 100 rounds he did? The best reload rate from that time would be 30 seconds per round. Or an HOUR! Someone would have had Holmes for lunch before he got off a SECOND shot for christake… gosh…
It’s not really the NRA that the President and Democrats are afraid of, it’s the American people. Most of whom live in Wyoming and Montana and have never seen a “negro” other than on TV.
The problem in all this is two fold. American’s are the most violent people in the Industrialized world. And the people pushing the violence, whether it be guns, executions, war or corporeal punishment, control the Supreme court, the MONEY, the House of Representatives and because of the 60 filibuster rule, the Senate as well. The only way to move forward is to vote THEM OUT for another 40 year or so cycle.
What reason would anyone making less than $100,000 a year vote for a Republican? Two words… RACE RELIGION.
