Why wouldn’t the 29-year-old Republican from Illinois with the six-pack abs vote no to Medicare? He’s obviously healthy, and claims that all it takes is eating right and exercise. What’s wrong with the rest of us? He doesn’t need Medicare. May I venture that we’re not all 29, and he won’t be forever. It’s also helpful that taxpayers assure him many stress-free hours in the gym,leisure time, and the best of medical care – should he ever require it.
