When – like this video – we take a fair look at both sides of the far reaches of American politics the Republican side of things is far uglier than the Democratic side of things.
Let’s first take a look at the present candidates, who on the Left has ever come even close to the nasty bigoted nasty buffoonery of Donald Trump? Or the over the top intolerance of Ted Cruz? Or the robotic whinning or Marco Rubio? But what about Hillary, Benghazi and the emails? Well if either of those things were done by Ronald Reagan or any Republican Secretary of State it would not be an issue.
Let’s take the political celebrities on the far Right; Ted Nugent, Alex Jones, David Duke, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Michael Savage, Cliven Bundy, Dan Inhofe, Bill O’Reilly and Clarence Thomas. Compare that to the worst on the Left with Rachel Maddow, Al Sharpton, Dan Savage, Jesse Jackson, Jon Stewart, Chris Mathews, Alec Baldwin, Ruth Ginsberg and Al Franken.
Political groups? On the far Right we have the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nations, Storm Front, Westboro Baptist, Militias and the NRA while the worst on the Left are Peta, Black Panthers, Greenpeace, Southern Poverty Law Center and Occupy Wall Street.
The dark side has become so ugly that the only way they can stay in power is through extreme gerrymandering, suppressing the vote, big corporate money and lying about most everything they have to say.
It’s the nature of the Beast
