Before listening to the pundits on Barack Obama’s speech this morning I must say he is one smart cookie. He took the issue which was on its way to taking him down and turned it on its head. This is not about Rev. Wright, the church or himself, it is about those, Black and White alike, who feed on the racial divisiveness to move us backward rather than forward and change.
This well written and delivered speech has probably been in the queue for quite a while, but by doing it now in Pennsylvania a new name presents itself in this election, Hillary Who?
Well done Mr. Obama. But your hope to overcome racial divisiveness I fear is only that, a hope I share but find very far from the present reality.
As one may wonder how many James Earl Rays’ may live in America, here in Texas I wonder how many may live on my street.
