After spending an hour or so watching John McCain’s Town Hall Meeting the other day I happened upon this scene on TCM.
What to do with all these Town Hall wingnuts, nitwits and their poorly veiled bigotry? Well here ya go! thank you Bette!
In that hour I watched a room full of Arizona’s fattest, ugliest stupid old women spew forth some of the most obnoxious silly crap I have ever heard. [Sorry I went too far there, some of the women were not that old
and there were a couple men – but they were just as fat, ugly and
stupid as the old ones]
Without realizing it I suddenly found myself online with a checkout cart full of Red Maple Leaf stickers to put on all my luggage and a Canadian flag which I intend to put up on that flag hanger doohickey on the side of the garage. I have never ever been so embarrassed and ashamed to be in American in my life.
The questions from these witches and witches were not even questions at all, but statements mostly about three things.
The horror of giving health care to those less white they they. (Mexicans)
The abomination of those less white than they getting out the vote. (ACORN)
And a less than white Czarist Socialist usurping our constitution. (Barack Hussien Obama)

Whenever one of these nasty old hags would go a bit too far – like personal attacks on the President – McCain would put out his hands and slowly lower his palms… And booed down.
When this once prisoner of war decried torture he was booed down.
The only really good moment he had was when he said he would never sign anything that gave Health Care Benefits to Illegal Immigrants! Be basked in that his only standing ovation.
When one old man screeched about the 31 Czars and mentioned something about FOX NEWS and the place applauded. Fox news has twice the audience of CNN and MSNBC put together!
One exceptionally stupid ugly old woman blurted out "OBAMA IS AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION!" Causing such a raucous boisterous applause that it made me ill. When McCain tried to tamp that one down some he got booed down again.
It was hard watching and all I could think of was wanting to grab these nitwits and shake the crap right of them. So thank you again Bette.
These town hall meetings must have big signs out front saying REASONABLE PEOPLE NOT ALLOWED! And even outside reasonable people happening into the area find themselves intimidated by gun toting Timothy McVeigh wannabes.
We have suffered a month of these very white butt ugly right-wing nutcakes at these town meetings. The previous month it was the very white Birthers spewing forth that mindless drool. And for 3 months before that was the Tea Party Nutcakes rallying around Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity screaming Right-wing swill just for the sake of screaming.
What they need is a damn good shakin!
