Bill Maher Houston, Texas show review and demographics

Bill Maher Houston, Texas show review and demographicsWe saw Bill Maher Saturday night over in Sugarland at a new 6500 seat venue. Average cost of seat was $80 which comes out to $500,000. Less the venue cost that is more money than I imagined for one person doing 90 minutes.

Does Sugarland sound somehow familiar to you? Ah, it’s the home of Tom DeLay, who I didn’t see there. He may be in jail or something. Tom DeLay the Lord of the Gerrymander. Blame him for Trump and the forever GOP control of the House.

It was cool having the 6500 liberals in Texas all in one place at one time. The demography was a bit askew with women outnumbering men and mostly Millennials and retirees with few in between. Less than a handful walked out. And the women were by far his loudest cheering section.

Maher was dressed causal other than his shoes which looked Italian expensive. Took notice of his shoes because he has big feet. And big hands. Which make all his Donald Little Dick jokes all the more potent.

The content was familiar but with less serious matter and more sexual matter. Liberals need to toughen up and kick some ass which was met with cheers.

The only flaw in the performance is he spends too much time dealing with hecklers. It seems to me that the way to defeat them is to keep the audience laughing and applauding so the hecklers don’t have any opportunity.

My take away of the evening?

Hey you Trump idiots, it’s not Mexicans that are taking your jobs it’s robots. So be on the lookout for Mexican robots which will be the end of us all.
