I like labels! When I want a can of corn I don’t want to end up with a can full of Lima beans. I hate Lima beans. In the trench you couldn’t give your Ham and Lima Beans away. Well there was that one ROTC officer, Fatty Nobrain who would take them.
There is an important message there, one that I do not agree with.
Fox News, Talk Radio, Americans For Prosperity, the Tea Party and the GOP are going to come at it hard, mean and relentlessly. I for one am going to stand up to it item by item, sound bite by sound bite, because they will never stop, it is what they do, it is how they work and how they win. They will never cease and desist. So roll it up in a ball and return to sender in like manner.
Fox News had unilateral political control of cable News for most of 20 years. Until MSNBC made began making their shift less than 10 years ago. Before that we had no comparable cable news and they still enjoy complete control of the radio. And that and Fox News is what has caused this historic divide.
Just the other day MSNBC had to apologize for some damn thing again. Oh yeah, for inferring that Republicans don’t like interracial couples, the Cheerios Ad. Anybody live down here with the okra, kudzu and Spanish moss? Hello? Gosh.. My guess is that on talk radio and Fox News liberals and Democrats are called Communists, Marxists, and haters of America literally MILLIONS OF TIMES. And not a word.
MSNBC fired two people in the last few months. Ed and Chris have been forced on leave. Hear of anyone on Fox News or talk Radio who had to apologize for any of the swill they dispense? Of course not. Why is it the Right can get away with it but the Left can’t? The answer to that which I am sure everyone is in agreement on, is that the Left is suppose to be better than that. A higher bar. We are smart enough to play the game on the level. And… nobody likes a smartypants…
