What next? It’s tricky to be a kid now days. A few weeks ago three six-year-old kids were caught playing ‘Doctor’ and all heck and hoo-ha broke loose. Most recently a nine-year-old North Carolina student has been suspended and charged with sexual harassment. He told a friend that he thought their teacher was cute. That’s right, he didn’t say that ‘bad’ word directly to her, but to a confidant – as much of a confidant as a fellow nine year old can be. Now his permanent school record will follow him with the charge of sexual harassment affixed. Teachers aren’t what they used to be. I’ll wager that even Herman Cain’s school record is free of such charges.
Sadly this kid will now become the Hero of Fox News and Right-wing talk radio. There may be parades! As the boss here so often tells us, Political Correctness has driven more working class people to the dark side than any other single factor.
RJ Adds: These tiny local stories of PC gone amok come from local Right-wing activist watchdogs, to David Horowitz, to Right-wing talk radio, to Fox News and then the mainstream media has to pick them up or be defined as having a liberal bias which causes them to lose share to Fox.
