There are three areas in our culture that but is into the Third World category. The violent gun culture, our sick brand of fundamentalist religion and refusal to accept Health Care as a RIGHT. How we can excel at so much while being so far behind in some things often AMAZES the outside world. Which in itself is another American hindrance, who cares what and socialist/Marxist nations think of us. They are either with us or against us. They can come along or be droned.
This video tells the story, it is not just mass shootings, or children, its presidents and leaders and gangs and domestic violence. The main cause of which is that we teach our children that guns are cool, guns are patriotic and guns are fun. Well perhaps it’s too strong to say WE TEACH, better to say THE NRA TEACHES.
The NRA argument is that A LAW will not stop all shootings. No one has said they will. The point is to take aim at the gun culture that has killed a million of us since the Sixties. And the law of large numbers. Put a hundred monkeys in a room with a loaded gun. Put a hundred monkeys in a room with a hundred guns. It’s really as simple as that.
