Colbert applies Cheetos to Jon Stewart go make him less boring

Colbert applies Cheetos to Jon Stewart go make him less boringThe take away on this should not be Cheetos or first responders but Hillary Clinton saying The Donald is no longer funny, the Donald has become “downright dangerous.” She – who all Republican presidential candidates say would be worse for our nation than Donald Trump – said that before the Mosque was just firebombed in California.

Speaking of parsing words… The silliness defining terrorism, or failure to say ISLAMIC terrorism or CHRISTIAN terrorism or RELIGIOUS terrorism. With the FBI saying it was an intentional bombing but we cannot say that or even surmise that it may have been driven by anti-Islamic fervor of late.  We still cannot say the Planned Parenthood terrorist was a Christian even though his homes were filled with Christian literature and he made and sold Christian crosses and all his statements about BABY PARTS and BABY MURDER is Christian rhetoric. Hell, we couldn’t even say that the San Bernardino terrorist act was done by Islamic terrorists for days on end.

But the worst example of parsing words, which is much akin to political correctness, is the conversation I had with Southwest Airlines the other day.

“Yes Ma’m I am thinking about changing our return flight from Cancun to a few days later and am checking to see if there is a penalty. Here is the reference number for the six of us.”
“Sir, Southwest Airlines DOES NOT invoke penalties to any changes in our flights!”
“Cool.”
“Let me see what I can do for you sir.”
Cool.”
“Sir we do have seats available on the 31st, there will be an additional $1200 transfer FEE.”
“Gosh…”
