I lived a year in Colorado and vacationed in Vail and Aspen not a few times. What I remember most was that footwear needed to be hard, bootish, have long laces with eyeholes and eyetabs and had to be put on just to go to the stop and go.
Here in dumbutt, I put on my flip flops, get to the Stop and Go and back, and down half the sixpack before Coloradans get their shoes on and out the door. And where’s the beach?
