Donald Trump is an unlikely candidate, and an unlikable human being, but comedian D L Hughley is under no delusions about why Trump is so popular. In an interview with TMZ, Hugley expressed the view that The Ugly American simply voices what some folks would like to yell out loud – without fear of repercussions.
Says Hughley: “So if Trump says (the N-word) he will be elected tomorrow.” No hyperbole, just fact, folks.
. D.L. laughed at the prospect of a Trump presidency,saying “It would be like Flavor Flav winning a spelling bee.”But what about the other candidates? Hugley mused; “How sorry are the other candidates who are running, if Donald Trump is the best choice?”
I might add, there are bruised feelings over the much-anticipated Fox ‘debate.’ Trump is most definitely in, while many demoralized candidates didn’t make the cut.
I often think we would be in much wiser hands if comedians could be talked into holding office. Think Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart, they have the wisdom, the knowledge and the savvy. Sadly they’re too bright to talk into taking a job where they must interact daily with our elected leaders like – Donald Trump!
To give Trump his due, the hand-picked crew of investigators he sent to Hawaii after President Obama’s first election, are still working tirelessly to prove that Obama’s birthplace (Hawaii) was presumably a Kenyan colony. We assume they are working, no word has been heard from them since their initial deployment.
Judging by the comments under this video in Youtube, far too many people still claim to believe the President was born abroad. I only hope America doesn’t get the president (they) deserve!
