CPAC, Mitch Daniels attacks Right-wing and is not yet sorry

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Indiana Governor and Republican Mitch Daniels reminds us of just how rare – if not unheard of –  it has become for mainstream Republicans to speak out against the lunatic fringe that they’ve gathered around them. If this weren’t so, it wouldn’t be worthy of mention that Daniels spoke out against the kind of Republicans who follow the likes of Limbaugh, Beck, Ingraham, and Hannity – and the hate-talkers themselves. You court them, you don’t criticize them, it simply isn’t done!

There are no far right wings and a wholes wanted in Daniel’s bucket of 2012 Republican extra crispy candidates. Of course, Rush has a retort, which I am certain he expects a remorseful response to within hours by Governor Daniels which also generally works for Sarah Palin too over these imagined slights. Doesn’t Daniels know how powerful these media mouths are? Is there a chance that Limbaugh is holding his breath waiting for that apology?
Will he turn blue?

Let’s see, what has House Speaker John Boehner done? Besides breaking into hysterical tears for no discernible reason, his main and stated goal is to stop any progress by President Obama, while perfecting an accusatory whine and point at the President, while intoning "Where are the jobs?" and his War on Women.

With perfectly dry eyes, Boehner gives us the nitty gritty on Republican budget cuts, and now – it’s our turn to cry! Note the crying man’s sensitivity. With the dead yellow eyes of a predatory snake eyeballing a rat, he informs us that if there is a devastating job loss due to their cuts, "So be it," hisses Boehner, secure in his job.
